It is 1.52am now and I ought to be asleep but I wasn't feeling sleepy. And then again if I wasn't feeling sleepy, I should instead be studying or doing something productive like er... doing math etc instead of updating this space which probably only 1 person (excluding myself) reads (HI SK!!!!).

Okay so I actually got out of bed to read about winter photography (to overexpose or underexpose? etc). And ended up reading TFLN as well (been a while since I read that hahaha).


And then I started thinking about Japan because of all the stuff that's happened there (and the 3 news reports I've watched today repeating the same stuff in chinese and english). Kinda scary because I was only there 3 months ago and now ): They even shut down Tokyo Tower's lighting and Shibuya crossing's billboards to save electricity , plus all the blackout rotations around different areas.
I still remembered when Elle told me that Chiba went up in flames I went like cause I immediately thought of Aiba (or more like his family restaurant), but the restaurant was fine. And luckily Maiko was kept in school so she's safe. Technically I would have been denied the chance to go to Japan this year, so I was lucky to have gone last year
But at the same time, my parents are now reconsidering Japan because they say it's not safe given all the stuff that's happened there (I remain adamant that nothing major - i think- happened in Nagoya so it's like er okay? But I know my logic is flawed because it doesn't mean that if this occurs again that things will be different).
Which then leads me to think that I probably should have taken SATs and aimed for Brown too But then again it's not like I really wanted to go there. Too much of this lies with me not being able to make up my mind. Same being for which course I want to study in uni

Well that was a long paragraph about japan. Probably should learn to work on my summary skills more. At the same time, I have never felt so strongly about a national disaster before (to me, Haiti was like ...........), so yeah.

Okay on to less depressing stuff. Point form again for easy reading.

• Brought 3 new books and stationary (paper/highlighters) on Friday because Kino had a sale.
  
• Realised that Popolo was.... strangely enough, missing from Kino's shelves
• In the middle of my second book, The Elegance of the Hedgehog. Slow pace because of the excess of flowery language (by excess I mean a lot, to the point where it gets annoying) in it but it's because of the scattering of witty humour inside (or perhaps I just haven't come across much books with humour).
• GTL is officially my favourite drink
• My week is going to be hell because if this is what I have to put myself through to get my 7d, I. WILL. DO. IT.

2.42am now. Gastric's acting up which means i should probably sleep, but since I'm (still) not sleepy, I'll treat myself to an episode of Himitsu.

Been a long time since I updated. So what else in life is new? My life has a tedious lack of variety and revolves around homework and school.

MY HAIR!!!!!!!! D: Miss it (the highlights) so much D: Okay but at least its sort of coming back now. I observe it everyday to see if its fading back to the original colour yet HAHAHA.

Okay yeah so that was just random. (Heh I whine abt it internally everyday though)

Okay then left at around 11, intending to cab home. Got money, but NO CABS. Murphy's law at its best -.- Ended up taking the last trains home. First time omg. Thought I was going to get flayed/killed/brutally mutilated but then heh nope, still safe.

And omg I have only 10 pieces of film left oh god dieeeeeeeee.

Chasing planes.

K so went to the airport on Wednesday w Mel. To chase planes hahaha. Went for CNY celebration before that cause I wanted to take instax w Audrey (but i couldn't find her cause she went to bathe, so i took w Mangala instead). Then airport! :D Ate at breeks (: Chicken ham pocket sandwich and choco crisp! Yummy. Watched Treasure Planet on the way there.

T2's viewing gallery so much better than T3's! Can see planes take off more clearly. Okay but to get nice shots you really have to get out. We went to this area around T3 instead to get the above shot.

Chasing planes again tmr, but at Changi beach! Muhahaha I did my homework. (travelling time, cab fare time/cost, plane departure times, weather forecast, bus routes/bus travelling time) Changi beach so troublesome but supposedly can take better shots. This better pay off.

Okay so today jap. The train broke down on the way at Tiong, so I missed abt 2 or 3 trains. Lucky I left house early so still made it on time. And then in the middle of jap class, kept drifting off/stoning -.- Lucky it was only for a while. Had fun w pudding camera during break lol.

After jap, went to meet Weiyi at Ion. Muji, then Zara. Oh god it was like Zara was undergoing a raid, and it didn't help that somehow they seemed to be more ppl than usual? But Zara never disappoints. Then to Wisma. Weiyi treated me to GTL! Fav ♥ Because it reminds me of japan hehehe (because I first drank it in japan and kept drinking it in japan).

Omg hahaha then at Gap kids this hilarious thing happened.

Then Lacoste! Omg cutest shit everrrrrrr Snoopy lacoste! (: Went to Vivo cause Wisma didn't have my shirt size. End up, Vivo didn't have either, but they offered to transfer it over from Suntec. Happy :D Ate at White Dog cafe. Yummyyyy, and quite worth it too? Walked around and then went to Bakerzin for desert. The meringue was super awesome and the souffle was practically made out of air, so fluffy and light! :9

K then I had to walk home in the horrendous rain. And then again, my jeans got wet, but this time it was better, til mid thigh -.- But when I got home, something was waiting for me!

Haji :D That's a real polaroid er... polaroid man! Pretty expensive though, $3/film! That's like nearly 2 of my (soon to arrive!) wide and 3 of Michelle's mini. Pretty, no? (:
While it was developing it was kinda scary though. Cause we both thought it wasn't going to work or smth then like O: cause when it came out you could see the emulsion spread (unlike instax which just appears as a blank piece of white film). But then after that the colours started coming out. Hehehe fun.

Okay so today. Surrender! :D With Weiyi hahaha. I finally saw Mr Hare, but its so pretty (expensive) it makes your eyes (and wallet) bleed. See only anyway. And Head Porter! Then to Haji. Found this cute toy store (I forgot the name).

Then Jap. The 2 girls sitting behind us (Sandy and er the other girl whose name I forgot) likes Arashi too! Muhahaha then they were discussing while we were stifling our laughter and watching Kouhaku.

Went to town to shop more w Weiyi. End up, she didn't buy anything when she was supposed to buy stuff, and I brought a shirt when I wasn't supposed to buy anything. But the shirt was worth it! Hard to find nice shirts man. Gap kids ftw :D

Well this weekend's been pretty good. A chance to recharge.

Sat was Jap! So happy to be back for jap. We got Kai sensei again, thank god! :D Cause I think i liked jap mainly cause of her and i like her teaching style muhahaha. On the other hand our class is huge again man.

Okay so I discovered something happy yesterday! Cheap thrill really but er whatever. My streaks are still there! Not v obvious though. It's like this colour but darker I guess? Heh. My streaks can change colour. Okay yeah well then previously they were this colour (I think lighter though. They're kinda orange in the light). Okay but still there! Heh yeah cheap thrill.

Okay tmr's Monday. Arghhhhhhh D:

So, haven't been updating since I got back from Japan. School has been the worst, the worst I've ever experienced. Tmr is really TGIF. I don't know how I can survive even a term of this hell.

On the other hand, I should learn to stop whining so much cause I'm starting to annoy myself.

Back from Japan!

And I want to fly back immediately already. Really love that place. It's clean and comfortable and the people are so nice and polite. There's this dude who even brought us all the way to the train station because we didn't know how to get there.

I am getting out of this country after A lvls this year.

Normally I would do a long long long long longggggg blog post with lots of pictures about the trip but not this time because 1) Omg can I just say it's really tiring and 2) my trip was 13 freaking days long. I am not going to write down 13 days worth of events, I already died with 9 days full last year (Korea).

Okay so we took SQ to Japan and back. SQ's service is impeccable. Really really good. Just that, I have no fate w SQ. On the flight there, I felt plane sick (which never happens). So yeah whatever the reason, it was uncomfortable. On the way back, I ate their omelette and I think I don't react too well to food at like 6am in the morning so I vomitted twice when I got back -.- In conclusion, yeah no fate w SQ.


Their food is really good! As i was raving abt it in previous post hehehe.

Hmmm yeah that's a lot of pictures already.

On one of the days in Hokkaido, Weiyi got sick and went to a hospital blahblahblah (okay its not that serious actually but cause the hospital was nearer than the clinic so like yeah). Okay the point is, you should NEVER fall sick in Japan. Like, ever. Even if you fall sick don't go to a doctor (unless you're like, abt to die or smth or like seriously ill, cannot breathe etc). Because its freaking ex. Like a few hundred bucks kind of ex.

And yeah okay the rest on facebook w captions and everything blah blah blah more than enough to tell you abt the whole trip.

Michelle: Really glad we were able to go to Japan together :D And ride rollercoasters in Disney and have snowball fights. And skiing together down the slope while screaming hehe. I had fun patting yr squishy jacket hehehe. And squishing you. The last min trip to harajuku was fun although kinda tiring cause we rush like hell. And hehehe fangirling in Japan :D At johnny's shop! (: Okay so yeah in conclusion we should go back there again. Thanks for a amazing 2010. And even though 2011 will be the year of shit, we'll pull through it together! Hehe can't wait for Jap class again :D

Weiyi: (who'll probably not read this) Okay hi I just saw you yesterday hehehe. And you see la! The only picture i have with you is this instax which I have yet to scan because... I don't have a scanner (YET). Okay so another thing on my birthday wish this year is for you to take like, 10 pictures with me HAHAHAHA. Then can choose the nicest one. Okay anyway. Haven't been seeing you a lot this year ): But Japan was totally awesome. Hi everyone! In Hokkaido nowwww :D

Updating using my touch cause this hotel has awesome free wifi :D not like the crap one yesterday which felt like a damn sauna and had only broadband at a exorbitant $22/day -.-

Today was skiing! Mainly. Weiyi's damn pro while Michelle and I mainly screamed all the way down the slope -.- but it was fun! We made a snow unicorn (cause we couldn't make the head round) and snow angels :B It snowed the whole day today, so now the weather is freaking shiok! (: I think around -2 deg or smth? Now that's what I call winter.

The flight here wasn't much fun cause I was plane sick (which never happens) but the landing was so smooth :D gotta love SQ pilots (: spent the whole morning on the plane, reahed Hokkaido at around 9? On Sunday.

The food here is super awesomeeee :D the vegetables are freaking fresh and sweet :9 I can totally be a farmer here. And their toilets are as awesome as koreaaa :D and the stuff here all so niceee you just want to buy all the shops down.

Hahaha okay I'm jumping around topics. Today's dinner was awesome too! (I have got to stop using that word -.-) had expensive Italian food but it was free cause we had dinner coupon! Otherwise it would have been like $60/person bloody hell.

Okay it's 11.39 now! Gonna abandony hw for a day and do it tmr instead. There's freeter tmr! :D final ep muhahaha. And himitsu on thurs I think. Excitingggg. Tmr's breakfast is French buffet yay :9 Goodnight!
